CenturyLink believes that the digital world does a lot more than just connect people and places; it creates amazing possibilities. Like the one in this spot: a long distance duet between Kelvin Jones and an amateur singer. Then we gave our audience the opportunity to re-enact that connection through a social singing competition.
The #SingWithKelvinContest encouraged people to share their versions of "Call You Home," the song from our TV spot, on different social media platforms. Online musicians helped us get the word out and entries came in from all over the country. The winner flew to London to sing a duet with Kelvin himself, bringing the campaign full circle and proving that the possibilities are endless with a little help from the Internet.
