In February 2018, Arnold appointed Fred Saldanha as an Executive Creative Director in the Boston office. He is one of the first executive creative hires by CCO Icaro Doria and brings a diverse mix of marketing and international experience to the team.
Most recently, Saldanha served as Executive Creative Director at Huge, where he led the agency’s Detroit office. His latest project was a Super Bowl commercial—a first for the agency—and a follow-up campaign for Rocket Mortgage. Saldanha also spearheaded the team that won the Anheuser-Busch business.
Previously, Saldanha held various international positions, including Chief Creative Officer at Brazil’s largest digital agency, AgênciaClick Isobar, overseeing its three offices in the country, and then the Americas region from New York. Prior to that, he served as Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy Brazil, where he led campaigns for Coca-Cola, Unilever and Motorola. Earlier in his career, Saldanha was a Senior Copywriter at Wieden+Kennedy London, helping to launch a global Nokia campaign, and an Executive Creative Director at Grey Lisbon.
Saldanha has been awarded 38 Cannes Lions throughout his career for his work on Coca-Cola, Sprite, UNICEF, Motorola and Forbes, among others, and was named one of the 30 most creative people in advertising by Business Insider in 2015.
