On January 25, 2016, Arnold Worldwide announced the appointment of Ed Castillo to the newly created role of Global Chief Strategy Officer. He will report directly to Hamlin and partner with Global Chief Creative Officer Jim Elliott as part of their plan to elevate Arnold’s creative product across the network. Castillo will also work closely with Nisha Dass, EVP, Global Director, Business Strategy & Analytics, Corporate Strategy, to drive strategic efforts across the agency’s entire client portfolio.
Previously, as Chief Strategy Officer of TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, Castillo played a key role in driving the new business success of the agency. In his last year there, he shepherded pitches with a number of leading brands including GoDaddy (globally), Thomson Reuters (globally) and Travelers Insurance. Prior to TBWA\Chiat\Day, Castillo served as SVP, Global Strategy Director at McCann Worldwide, where he led strategy on the brand reinvigoration of American Airlines, following Chapter 11 reorganization.
